Titanic: Love Story Of All The Time

Are you looking for love or lies?

The RMS Titanic was known as “unsinkable” and tragically fell in the middle the ocean. Many people were left frozen in the cold waters. Although the boat was not unsinkable, it was still one of the most outrageous adventures of all time. The movie makers felt that the story needed to be a little more interesting in order to capture viewers’ attention. The twist was a love story between Jack and Rose, who are complete opposites. Titanic’s producers followed all historical details to inform the audience. They also modified the passenger entertainment class interactions to make it more dramatic.

Titanic: 1997 Edition. The producers changed the structure of the classes to allow Jack and Rose to form a relationship. This adaptation meant that passengers could freely move around the ship and had no restrictions or limitations on their social interaction. Jack and Rose were one example. They made their first acquaintance at the ship’s back, looking out over the engines. Third class passengers, however, were not allowed to be in their living areas or the restricted area of the toilet deck. Third class passengers like Jack, could see the motors in an area that was accessible from their living quarters. Rose wouldn’t be allowed. Jack is also allowed to accompany Rose to dinner in a group of elite and prestigious people. This is another example of Jack’s freedom on the ship. Jack didn’t have a tuxedo to wear so it wasn’t assumed that his social status would be present at these dinners. The reality is that Jack and Rose could not have arranged a romantic evening. Third-class passengers had two entrances into the ship that allowed them to board (Brewster & Coulter). This was where they could be checked for lice. The upper classes were not allowed to go through this process. Jack, being a person of high status, was not allowed to dine with the highly regarded because he was considered dirty. While these moments were pivotal in Jack and Rose’s relationship, it is clear that history proves otherwise. The directors decided to change these elements to make Jack and Rose’s love story one of the most memorable of all time. The film was filled with extravagant parties, including large ball rooms, for upper-class members. The “ball room” was described as “like the palace’s ball room, brightly lit by a string of chandeliers and filled with elegantly dressed people, and beautiful music ..,” from The Titanic”. It was as enjoyable as this party could be, but it was discovered that there wasn’t a room like this on the ship. In addition to this, third-class members hosted spontaneous parties that they couldn’t afford. Jack pulled Rose to the “ad hoc group gathered near an upright piano, honking loud stomping tunes on accordion, flute, and tambourine.” People of all races are enjoying a night out, whether they’re drinking beer or wine, smoking or laughing. Third-class citizens could only be in their homes and the small space of the poopdeck (Kiger), but as we have already mentioned, they were not permitted to do so. Jack was therefore unable to have a party in the designated space. The Titanic’s grandeur was not diminished by the absence of such parties. The Titanic offered a first-rate gym for First Class passengers who are interested in physical fitness. (Kiger 1). This equipment was not available to everyone at the time, even if it was on a prestigious ship. Another option for those less energetic was music. The ship’s Orchestra played background music ..,”. National Museums Northern Ireland, 1. The passengers in lower classes had to look for entertainment. There was no option for them to party. The Titanic’s producers adjusted Jack’s forms and amusement to make the film more exciting, knowing that Jack would not have any recreation on board. The film portrays the sinking RMS titanic in a very accurate way. In an attempt to inform viewers, the directors tried to keep the disaster exact.

The movie’s directors kept to the facts, but also highlighted how stress affected passengers from all social classes. A third-class mother puts her children to sleep because she believes there is no chance of survival (The Titanic). Director’s views also showed people trying to hold on to their lives while rushing to lifeboats. “Many passengers on Titanic were reluctant to get off the ship. Both cases clearly show that passengers were fearful and made drastic decisions due to the stress. Another scene accurately depicted was the sinking ship. The film seems to show the boat flooding quickly, but it remains precise. The true ship took 10 minutes for passengers to reach safety. In fact, “within 10 minute the ship’s forward compartments were flooded at a height of 14.5″ above the keel.” (National Museums Northern Ireland. 3). In a matter of ten minutes, the entire lives of passengers were changed. The Titanic’s creators were able to accurately inform viewers about the tragic events and leave Jack and Rose as the focal point. The crash was horrific, and this conscious decision made it dramatic. You can make a movie about the RMS Titanic by twisting some facts. This will entertain your audience while educating them about the horrible events that transpired. Jack and Rose’s love story became one the most well-known. However, the tragic events that led to the ship’s sinking were the most shocking. Director John Carpenter used a romantic, yet accurate combination to lure the audience. He also told the story of a ship sinking and their complicated relationships. The movie not just shows the historical timeline, but also the effect it had on people and the entire world.
